BUILDING BACK BETTER (BBB) IN HATAY, TURKIYE: LESSONS IN URBAN RESILIENCE.

This panel discussion emerges from the Columbia Global Center in Istanbul’s Global Resilience Fund project Building Back Better in Hatay: Co-Designing a Multi-Stakeholder, Multi-Risk Informed Urban Development Approach". Based on our ongoing work in the Hatay region, the aim is to have a discussion around what we have learned so far about resilience from the rebuilding after the devastating earthquake in Turkiye on February 6, 2023. We also hope to strengthen our collaborations in support of the region which faces multiple ongoing risks including from climate change.
