Amelia Ding

Amelia Ding, an undergraduate student attending Barnard College at Columbia University, is majoring in Environment and Sustainability with a minor in Science and Public Policy. Passionate about exploring intersectional approaches to climate change, environmental justice, and policy, Amelia has interned at The Office of Senator Kirsten E. Gillibrand as well as The Resilient Coastal Communities Project. As part of her work with the RCCP team, Amelia has focused on the Fair and Accountable Spaces Research Project as well as contributing to RCCP's chapter titled "Transparency, accountability and justice: why governments must share flood protection planning leadership with frontline communities" in the Urban20 Book titled Urban Sustainable Development: governance, finance, and politics. After graduation, she hopes to pursue a career in law to further her impact in this field.
