Jason Wong is LSE Fellow in Environmental Economics at the London School of Economics and Political Science and an incoming Assistant Professor of Economics at Occidental College.
Jason is an applied microeconomist interested in the impact of technology and infrastructure in regional socioeconomic outcomes and environmental decision making. His research focuses on the impact of aviation connectivity on regional economies and innovation, climate change impacts on aviation, and improving international agreements on sectoral emissions reductions. He is also actively involved in research on electricity infrastructure and energy poverty in India. In 2016-2017, Jason was a Transportation Research Board Graduate Research Awardee. In 2018, he served as one of eight International Parliamentary Fellows from the U.S. at the German Parliament (Bundestag), where he worked on economic, energy, and transport policy.
