The aim of this three stage project is to help accelerate awareness and take-up of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the New Urban Agenda (NUA) worldwide among individuals and groups in the urban professions, education and civil society.

The American Lead Map Collaboratory

The American Lead Map is a collaborative community-based research initiative to create the nation's first crowd-sourced open online map identifying toxic lead hazards in American cities, integrating data from cities in all 50 states and Puerto Rico.

The Resilient Coastal Communities Project (RCCP) released a working paper, "Designing Community-led Plans to Strengthen Social Cohesion - What Neighborhoods Facing Climate-driven Flood Risks Want from Resilience Planning,"  analyzing the experiences of ten New York and New Jersey environment and climate justice organizations in connection with resilience planning and making recommendations as to how future planning initiatives, like the New York-New Jersey Harbor and Tributaries Study, can be done in a truly just, inclusive and empowering manner.  Read the paper

CSUD welcomes Marshall Fellow Pouria Bacher who will work on "Green Sub-Transportation"

CSUD is pleased to welcome Pouria Bacher who is working on a master's degree in Innovation and Technology Management at the University of Applied Sciences Technikum Vienna. Pouria was awarded a fellowship by the Marshall Plan Foundation  for his research idea, " Green Sub-Transportation '', which will look at the potential to use excess subway capacities for lower emissions freight. He will be working with CSUD Director Jacqueline Klopp and Thomas Abdullah of the Sustainability Management Program and the MTA.
